Jihad Faitrouni, the Chief Executive Officer at Unlimited Insurance Services (UIS), is no stranger to change. Having navigated different markets and companies as a CEO, he recently embarked on a new journey in the field of education.
Faitrouni describes this transition as a new phase in his life, likening it to entering a new game or challenge. “In education, you can collect the rewards immediately when you see your students’ progress and interaction,” he says. He believes that education is one of the best jobs in life, a noble mission of spreading knowledge and fostering human development and progress.
He emphasizes the importance of giving from the heart, especially in education. “When you begin to see your students as your own kids, and communicating as a nurturing father would, you truly realize the profound impact and value of this role in my life,” he shares.
In addition to his academic career, Faitrouni is also revamping his company, UIS, offering advice for many markets, especially the UAE. He takes pride in having been involved in creating the insurance law in the UAE, a significant achievement after many years in the market.
Faitrouni is planning to expand his business not only in Dubai but also in London, aiming to create a bridge between Beirut, Dubai, and London. He is optimistic about creating something different and innovative, not just a traditional business.
When asked about the recent flood in the UAE, Faitrouni commends the government for its support to the people. He praises the Dubai police for managing the disaster properly and developers like Emaar for taking responsibility. He believes that Dubai is a symbol for ideal living, a place where people are always supported and their efforts are appreciated.
Faitrouni also shares his thoughts on the Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC), describing it as a place where experts meet. He appreciates the opportunity it provides for participants to exchange their expertise and business in a friendly environment.
